The 24-unit core of General Biblical Studies at Excel Christian College has been structured to provide to provide a broad exposure to basic Bible knowledge, theological awareness, Apostolic tradition, and the opportunities to serve God within and without the Church.
The purpose of this degree is to equip students with basic, foundational knowledge and skills as caregivers in a variety of settings involving Christian community outreach and counseling.
The Counseling degree prepares and equips students to assume counseling roles in the church and society with a sound biblically based orientation. Students learn basic theories and techniques of counseling in order to function effectively in a counseling ministry and community setting.
At its core, Christ-centered counseling is about understanding how people think, act and relate. We believe that a Christian worldview is an essential part of this understanding. That's why the Bachelor of Science in Christian Counseling integrates the scientific, research-driven study of human behavior with a biblical understanding of human nature.

The foundation of ministry is the ability to understand and teach Scripture well. This program will develop your skills in exposition and in teaching. You will study the contents, backgrounds and purpose of each book of the Old and New Testaments and become proficient at interpreting and applying passages by understanding their genre, ancient meaning and modern significance.

The Bachelor of Science in Biblical Ministries is an online degree completion program for adult learners active in some form of Christian ministry — including teaching pastors, youth pastors, women's ministry leaders, small group leaders, Sunday school teachers and others.
